JD Sports @ Gamescom
XL Studio delivered one of the biggest esport partner event activations to date in “Beyond the Basement”, an immersive experiential showing up at the biggest gaming events in Europe including the jewel of European gaming, Gamescom.
The stand featured a unique entertainment playground where the 90’s, pop culture, gaming, and music come together. The activations included multiple competitions with prizes to be won, digital experiences that showcase JD's culture through past and present campaigns, a DJ/Chill Out Area and a dedicated open floor space for fans to explore and enjoy.
From planning, design right through to logistics and build XL Studio handled every aspect of the regional execution leading to breakthrough results for JD garnering over 35,000 stand engagements at Gamescom alone
